thanks for the info. So it's not the "Bounty" fleet just outside of Savaii? The description ( 3 Vaisseau near Savaii ) fitted that particular fleet, they oly show up after numerous attempts at deafiting weaklings ( grave robbers and whatnot ) but they didn't drop anything when we defeated them ( twice ).

yes, the fleet is called bounty as I wrote before... but there are 2 kinds, one drops haul ropes, the other firebombs.

Perhaps we need certain level of plunder or other skill that make them to drop them? As I said we defeated them 2 times ( they only did respawn twice in about 2 hours ) but they didn't drop anything.

K a little bit of a correction, at least from my experiences.

I found the indicated spot and fought for several hours, and a 3 Vaisseau "bounty hunter" fleet appeared. I ambushed them, used request convoy to cause a distraction, and plundered all 3, and got nothing.

Kept it up and another "bounty hunter" fleet shows up, but this time is a fleet of 2 Vaisseau and 1 other ship(Carrack or galleon i think). I Used the same strategy, and i DID get a custom haul rope from the lead ship Vaisseau(A). This lead me to believe that there might be 2 different bounty hunter fleets that spawn, and im not sure if both can drop the rope

So i can 100% confirm the information posted above, and the skills i used was ambush, seize cargo, and plunder rank 2. The weakly ships were easy kills so you just need a little patience.

moriel is right... if you go to japanese wiki and the npc fleet, there are fleets under the same names but with different ship/pattens. Those fleets with different pattens will drop diffrerent stuffs.. check wiki from japanese to confirm. Rare patterns do not show up very offen, you need to keils the ships there alot to make it comes out. If you want to see it easier. Try to bring 10 15 AOS with you, blow up all the fleets in sight which are not the fleet/patten you want to farm.

It's a rare NPC so you'll have to keep fighting the lv38,40 and 42 for it to appear eventually for a chance at some ropes. If you fight the pair at the entrance you will eventually make the Regional Bandit lv54 appear

Better chance of getting those is from fleet of vaisseaus in savaii, just do the persistent pilfering and make sure you get seize cargo, i can get them for a fair price, leave ur ign and ill contact you

These can be sometimes be very rarely found in Lima's hidden passages. At the very least, two friends of mine got 3x each, after finishing off a "doom room" (the kind with lots of high level enemies) on the middle floor.
