Part of the Prosperity of Ancient Egypt Memorial Album, this Sailor Equip item is created using Sophia points obtained from Legacy theme discoveries. Requires Transmutation Alchemy Equipment or Complex Alchemy Equipment furniture. Recipe:

Base item: Maritime Surveying Reader
Handicrafts/Alchemy R11
Sophia points consumed per production: 250

Ingredients:
The Sun's Gemstone x1
Custom Haul Rope x20
Ventus Reduction x10
20% chance of success

As with all Transmutation Alchemy recipes, Book of Uroboros items work fine. Sadly, Book of the Wingless Dragon do not. Stats:

Durability 50
Vertical Sail +14
Horizontal Sail +2
Turn Speed -1
Wave Resistance +1
Armour -1

Sadly, Sailor Equipment loses durability quite rapidly and can only be repaired using the following items:

Simple Sailor Equip. Repair Tools
Sailor Equip. Repair Tools
Advanced Sailor Equip. Repair Tools

Availability of those items on Maris is quite scarce for the most part. Take good care of it. Cheers.

↑ Adv or Normal Sailor Equip. Repair Tools are unobtainable. According to Taiwan Server, they sell it by cove.

It gives wave resistance, but... if my ship already is modded to max WR, it improves its speed anyway?

If does, i don't see why put so much enfort in acquiring it since Sailors' Old Compass [02600003] gives +2 WR and almost same sail status.
