Information from a witness
The place where the cow-like creature was spotted was near the lone cedar tree to the north-northeast of Oslo. It's not supposed to be dangerous, so I don't think it needs to be gotten rid of. There should be no problem restricting this investigation to a study of its habitat.

Seeking more detailed information
If that animal is dangerous, we need to get rid of it. That's why the men of the city went down to the forest. It looked kind of like a cow, though... And didn't seem so dangerous. The port official said that as long as we don't bother it, it shouldn't bother us.

Reason for digging up the ground
I heard about that animal from a travelling scholar. Apparently it digs up the ground to eat tree fruit. I've never heard of it acting violently, but it's probably a good idea not to get recklessly close to it anyway. Please tell it to the girl too.

It is not a dangerous animal
It's not dangerous? Oh, thank goodness! I'm very relieved. Huh? Of course I'd never try and harm it deliberately! When I saw it, it was near the lone cedar tree. So, when it was digging up the ground, it was actually looking for food, eh.

Ecological research
There's the spot where it dug up the base. This is definitely the investigation target. It must be near here somewhere.
