Blue Mouth and Tongue
I heard about this strange dog they have in China from a customer. Its tongue and the inside of its mouth are blue! He said its face is wrinkly, its body is fluffy and it looks really warm! I want to know more about this dog. The customer told me they heard about it from a traveller in Hangzhou!

Wrinkled Face
Ah yes, that dog. It had a wrinkly face and a dark blue tongue. One of the pups had bushy fur around its face like a lion. Now that you mention it, I've seen the Tavern Keeper in town asking visiting outsiders about that dog. I wonder what they've told him?

Burly Dog
People from other regions tend to be pretty surprised when they see it. It may look rather fluffy, but its actually pretty muscular. In the North I heard they use it to pull sleds, or as a watch dog or hunting dog. I bet someone in Yuntaishan would know more than me.

Black-tongued Dog
That dog is sometimes called the "Black-tongued Dog". It's said that it has inhabited this area since olden times. According to certain literature, the emperor during the Tang Dynasty raised nearly 2000 of them...

Startling Appearance
I know! Why don't you see one for yourself? I'm sure you'll be surprised. You'll sometimes see a domesticated one out for a walk right when you head to the outskirts of town. If you're lucky, you should run into one.

Dog with Many Distinguishing Features
The dog Lautu described is distinguished by its dark blue tongue and inner mouth. It is sometimes called the "Black-tongued dog". It apparently has even more unique features, so you should see one for yourself. You heard you can sometimes see one being walked right when you head out for the outskirts of Yuntaishan.
