                                          If you got the "Mission Complete" message, return first to Calicut and 'report' to your nation's consul. A brief cutscene will play, after which you must then return to your nation's capital to receive a port permit upgrade (from the investment/Imperial Quest giving NPC in your nation's castle/palace/mansion/whatever). Expect to go through this routine each time you complete an Imperial Quest to unlock a new port permit, right up through East Asia.
