Note: The location of this discovery is dissimulated as there is no evident yellow marker when you use observe. (it's maybe up in the canopy of trees) To the south of the Red Flowers there are some ruins where the path bends, if you stand between the northeast corner of those ruins and the tree to the northeast and use Ecological Research you will be able to make the discovery.

Method of flight
The flying civet? Ah, that creature. Yes, it does resemble a civet. You can go deeper inland from the outskirts of this town, over where the ruins are. I flied in a funny way, it stretches its skin between its hands and feet to glide between trees.

A cat or a monkey?
Yes, that creature does live here. It does resemble a civet, but it's closer to a monkey, the way it moves. Its body colour is similar to the trees, which might make them harder to find. If you want to study it, pay attention to the trees.

Investigation of flying animal
The civet-like flying creature uses its skin to glide between trees. Its movement resembles a monkey more than a cat. I should travel further inland from the outskirts of Giah Dinh to find this creature.
