1. Countries staring each other down
To you Europeans, it must appear that the Islamic nations in this region are all allied with on another. But that's not necessarily the case. Just like with Ternate and Tidore, there are also countries who are at odds with one another. So it's important to monitor those kinds of places.

2. Target of inspection
The Town Official is speaking like it's someone else's problem, but this country could also have strained relations with another nations. Off our east coast, there's an island where an Islamic kingdom has been established for a good many years. But now they've reached a very dangerous state. I think a Port Official should know a lot about that area.

3. Advancement of a certain European country
This all began when a certain country from Europe starting making inroads there. That kingdom's territory also included the island Davao is on. But, because of the advance of that European country, they started losing their land. They've been resisting by turning to pirating, but the difference in military power is more than obvious.

4. Most likely candidate
So what if that kingdom had an ally who supported their advance into other countries? And, in return for that support, they'd halve any land they obtained. Based on the current circumstances, it's certainly possible. And wouldn't it be very likely that they'd target a neighboring country. So it's crucial that we observe everything very closely.

5. Sea region under heavy surveillance
Off the east coast of the island Brunei is on, there's an island where an Islamic kingdom was established many years ago. That island has been jolted by the advance of a powerful Europeans nation. Remember your current job involves investigating this island and making a report. That kingdom has apparently turned to pirating, so you better be careful.
