          You know what pearls are, don't you? They're jewels found inside shellfish. Supposedly, there are black pearls that can be found near Persia, but they're only discovered on rare occasions. If we knew what shellfish they came from, it'd probably be easier to find them. So I definitely want you to investigate this. Why not ask around Hormuz?

                  Find as many shells as you need
                  Black pearls can be harvested from oysters. When the oysters open, the inside is black. You have to actually open the oysters in order to see if actually contains a pearl. They're not always the perfect size either, most of the time they're too small or have bad shapes... Wouldn't it be nice if we could tell by simply looking at it from the outside?

                  I once split a pearl in half. Have you ever seen the inside of a pearl? It's kind of like a tree stump. Based on that, you can see how long it takes for a pearl to form. They just grow naturally inside the oysters... isn't nature amazing?

                  Shell in which pearls can be found
                  We can now tell which oysters produce black pearls. If pearls take a long time to form, then we can assume that an oyster's size will reflect the size of the pearl. Let's go to the Persian Gulf to learn more about these oysters. The area southwest of Hormuz should be a good place.
