                      대왕의 부친의 이름은 필리포스 2세. 소년시절에 테베에서 인질이었던 경험이 있어, 외교에 뛰어나고 군략도 천재적이었다고 합니다. 그리스와도 싸워, 승리한 것 같습니다. 왕의 무덤이 이 근처에 있다는 이야기를 들은적이 있습니다만, 왕의 유물도 무덤에서 발견될지도 모르겠네요.

                      2. 위대한 부자지간
                      필리포스 2세는 알렉산더 대왕보다 뛰어나거나 뒤떨어지거나 하지않는 위대한 인물이었다고 한다. 대왕의 활약의 기반을 만들어 준 것과 같은 것이다. 베르기나 유적 내부를 탐색해 보면, 무엇인가 발견될지도 모른다.
