No Expiration
Marseille Adventurer's Guild
There's a job to look for the ruins of a city built by the Roman emperor Septimus Severus, but it's in North Africa--Islamic territory. You may want to ask around the Palma tavern about how you can get in.

Recognition in the nortwest corner of the east ruins. (outside Tripoli)

1. To slip into a Islamic town
Ah, the Islamic town? It is difficult to blend in when in enemy territory... but not impossible.
Muslim clothing can be found in the town goods shop. Turbans, things like that. You won't be easily discovered if you wear that.

2. Watch what you say
Even if you put on a turban, you won't get anywhere if you can't speak the language. You can learn Arabic from the commerce guild of Genoa.
I don't know much about ruins, but I have heard that of the ruins of a large town made of marble in the outskirts of Tripoli. That could be what you are looking for.

3. Path to the ancient Roman ruins
I hear there is a large ruins made of marble in the outskirts of Tripoli. Leave out the Tripoli town gate and proceed further inland. When you find a structure that looks like a ruin, use "Recognition" to investigate.

Remains of the city built by Septimus Severus, Emperor of Rome. The prosperity of the city can be seen in the lavish use of marble.
