A little different
They found an insect in the forest on the island where Jakarta is. It is similar to the horned armoured insect that you studied before, but a different size and colour. This might be a separate species. You might be able to find out more in Jakarta.

Hand injury

Hmm, I remember the town sailor talking about something like that. He showed me a scar on his hand, saying the insect did it.

spiky legs
Yeah, this cut is from the insect. In the forest, I saw this shiny bug, with a cool shape. I picked it up and studied it on my hand, and suddenly it scratched me with its spiked foot!

Aggressive spirit on display
It had its horn up in the air, and was ready for a fight! I ran in fear from an insect the size of my hand! Hahaha! There is a landing spot on the northern coast of this island, and you should be able to find it there.
