It's a pet quest and all pet quests I've seen so far require you to have discovered the creature that'll be your pet. So, anaconda discovery must be a prerequisite.

...ok correcting myself, all exotic pet quests, I should have said. The brown dog doesn't need a discovery :-).

Is it me or is this quest really really rare? I have the anaconda discovery, and, if it matters for a pet quest, over 100K adv fame. I am having trouble pulling it - I wonder if there's any other pre quest or required pre discovery.
