                  A bat that lives in the tropical rain forests of Central America. It takes its name from the wart-like protrusions on its lips and muzzle. It is known to eat frogs and its large ears are able to distinguish which frogs are poisonous just by the frog's call.

                  This quest seems to be connected to the discovery of chameleon. You will not be able to pull Demon's servant quest from Lisbon until you will have the Fringe-Lipped Bat discovered. Took me tons of qmp and a sqmp before i figured out i was missing this discovery. It's highly recommended to make this quest if you are running after the chameleon discovery.

                  Looking at Umiol (JP UWO info site), it appears this quest's discovery is needed to unlock Forbidden strawberries, which in turn is required to progress through the Chameleon chain. Good catch.

                  Actually i already had the poison dart frog discovered which is in fact the pre-requiste discovery for the fringe-lipped bat and not the sub-sequential quest and that is probably what messed things up for me.

                  I don't know if I understand correctly but this quests is not needed to discover the Chamaleon, I just did it and I have the Chamaleon card a long time already

                  Perhaps it is just another example of a 'broken' quest that operates differently in our version of UWO?
