                    Onmyodo and Onmyoji
                    Life-given paper? Hmm.... Maybe you mean the mysterious tools of Onmyodo? Around here, the practitioners of Onmyodo are called "Onmyoji". Originally Onmyodo was not a religion, but a science from China.

                    Paper is Yorishiro
                    The strange arts of the Onmyoji are still unexplained. The paper acts as a "Yorishiro" to call forth the gods, but I don't know how a person could control the gods.... Maybe someone else knows about Onmyodo.... Oh yes! Takatsugu in Nagasaki....

                    Abe no Seimei's Story
                    I do not have a thorough knowledge, but I do know some things about the great Onmyoji, Abe no Seimei. He even employed the help of the Twelve Heavenly Generals. The Heavenly Generals were normally placed into a human-shaped paper. The greater the Onmyoji, the greater the gods that can be put under his control.

                    Abe no Seimei's wife was afraid of the familiar spirits so he would hide under a bridge called "Modoribashi" and call them out there when necessary---. I doubt something like that ever happened at our bridge here... But maybe an Onmyoji out there re-enact
