Is there a pre-quest for this? Or does the Discovery show as something other than "Kerch Vase"? Or is this just a really hard quest to pull? Or does the quest have some hidden req like Persian? Because I don't have the discovery listed, and I've burned 25 QMP and 2 SQMP trying to get this quest from Istanbul. I meet all the reqs by a long ways, have 320k Adventure fame, and speak Turkish. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thank-you.

Hmm. Looking at this quest in Japanese...

I may be reading it wrong, but it's showing that Initial historical investigation is needed to unlock this quest. Both quest descriptions in english mention a kingdom, so they do appear to be connected. Not sure if that's 100% accurate or not, though, sorry.

I have the discovery and it is indeed called "Kerch Vase". I got it awhile back and I had (at the most) 100k adventure fame. It sounds you just have a bad case of bad luck. I wish you better luck in the future though.

I have this discovery as well. As I recall, the quest did not appear until after I'd done the Kerch Straits discovery quest listed by ReaD and Guilder.

Aahh, thank you so much to all who helped. *facepalm* to me though(LOL!) I should have done a search on this DB for Kerch, I might have made the connection sooner.
