                      A fish with a tubular body, covered in scales like a snake, with about 15 spines on its dorsal fin, a large caudal fin, and pectoral fins. It is about a metre in length and many are dark reddish-brown with deep green specks. A rare sight in tropical African rivers as well as the Nile.
