The dancer that has appeared
Hearing some romance gossip and leaping at the chance to take this job, you must be a rather curious person. Ah, but that's beside the point... A few days ago, an incredibly beautiful woman came to this town. She was a dancer from Jofra. And all the men here were instantly captivated by her.

A bird that courts its mate desperately? That could be almost any type of bird. The male flies near the female or seduces her with its bird call. Oh... a more desperate act than that? Hmm... Say, weren't you investigating the Victoria Crowned Pigeon before?

Continent to the east of Dili
That bird's decorative feathers are meant to attract the female, too, right? Then it wouldn't be strange at all if the bird the Guildmaster in Calicut is talking about is also on that same island.
