                1. Food stores of Machu Picchu
The people of Machu Picchu's provisions? No major problems there. We have no trouble growing corn and papas here, after all. In fact, the liquor at the bar, Chicha, is made from our corn. ...Hm? Oh, here we call potatoes papas.

                2. A thousands words are worth one image
What? How do we farm on land like that? What, you didn't see the Machu Picchu fields before? You'll understand once you see those.

                3. Concering fields
This is your first time seeing our fields? Well, unlike flatlands, most of Machu Picchu is made up of slopes, so we have to make our own staircase-like flatlands where we can then grow crops. It also helps prevent landslides.

                4. Their shape
In addition, we can grow different kinds of crops on each of the "steps". On the highest crops we grow papas, on the lower ones we grow corn, and below those we grow cotton plants. Is it really so unusual? You can see them really well frm near the bar.

                5. Stepped fields
These "staircase fields" are the main source of Machu Picchu's food supplies. These Incan people with their farmlands built on such steep slopes have really surprised me... I've beel told i can see the fields really well from near the bar.

Gently inclined fields built into the base of the inclined mountain in a step shape. This is a common sight in agriculture in the highlands along the Andes Mountains.
