      Investigation of Koxinga
      No Expiration
      Jakarta Adventurer's Guild
You're the one who found the Yingge Rock, right? Well, if you remember, the name Kozinga came up in that investigation. There's someone in Brunei who's terribly interested in that Koxinga. So they want you to investigate him for them. If you're interested in this job, go visit the gatekeeper in Brunei.

                  1. The strenght of Koxinga
I am very interested in the warrior called Koxinga, Master Zheng Chengong. His courage in sailing to Taiwan, his strong determination to restore the Ming. Was that him alone? Or was he influenced by someone? From what i hear, his skill upon landing at Taiwan was considerable

                  2. Decision to Land on Taiwan
Taiwan was an unknown to him, wasn't it? But he appeared to have no doubts about what was needed. That's where we can really see his strenght. I want proof of why he chose to attack Taiwan. That's what i want you to find out. And i suggest you start in Anping. That is where he is, isn't it?

                  3. He-Bin
Have you talked to Master He-Bin? Master He-Bin used to interpret for the Amsterdam Army. Of course we don't really know a lot about that time. There are rumours that he was sent as a spy. But anyway...

                  4. The Underling who Returned
I'm not sure of the reason, but Lord He-Bin had a falling out with Koxinga's father. Lord Zheng Zhilong, and left the army. However, he rejoined under Koxinga and contributed to their conquest in the form of a map of southern area of the island.

                  5. Weakness Found
I am told the map showed the port and roads held by the Netherland forces. It showed him the best place to land his forces. Using this, Koxinga was ableto avoid enemy bases.

                  6. Map that Provided Springboard
The real attack on Taiwan began with that map. It is clear that it played a large role in Koxinga's decision. You want to see the map? You'll have to ask Master He-Bin himself. And please watch your manners around him.

                  7. Copy of Map
You should be able to see a copy of the map, relatively quickly. I made copies just in case something happened to the original. One of those copies as being kept at the Archives. The scholar asked for it as part of his research on our arrival at Taiwan. So you can find it there.

                  8. Catalyst for Advancing to Taiwan
It is possible that some of the success Koxinga had in Taiwan can be attributed to the map he received from Master He-Bin. At the very least, it appears to have been part of what made him decide to go. I cannon pass on this chance to see the map, so i will head for the Archives.

Tainan map showing the routes and ports occupied by the army of the Netherlands. Offered to Koxinga by Zheng Zhilong's subordinate, He-Bin. Greatly helped in the safe landing on Taiwan.
