You know the coating material called "lacquer", right? It seems the bowls painted with lacquer have become popular among certain influential figures for their unique charm. They've become so popular that we've now got a request to find a lacquered product with historical value. Maybe you could take a look around Edo?

Gold-lacquered Writing Box Technique of Gold-lacquering
A lacquered good with historical value... Maybe something made using the technique of "gold-lacquering" would suffice. Before the lacquer dries, gold or silver powder is sprinkled on the surface. The craftsman in town knows someone well-versed in the technique, I believe. Go and talk with him.
Nameless Craftsman of Gold Lacquer
Gold lacquering? That takes me back. An old acquaintance of mine used to use that technique. He had great talent but not the drive, so he passed away in obscurity... You're already come this far... could you find the relics he left behind and show them to the world? It would be a waste for them to be buried from the world forever.
Made with love
The craftsman in Edo has informed you about an unknown craftsman who practiced gold-lacquering. The craft shop that lost this skilled master is said to be west-northwest from Edo, proceeding from the outskirts. Search for a buried relic and present them to the world as a historical work.
