Rio de Janeiro Adventurer's Guild
I think it would make sense to entrust this job to a Sailor of your abilities. In the southern part of the New World, there are apparently vast reaches of land where humans have rarely stepped even to this date. I'd like you to explore that area. Will you do it?
Why not ask around in San Antonio about information related to that region?

1. Wind swept wilds
Sure thing that almost no one lives in that vast wilderness in the south.
And that wind: enough to blow any human about like a rag doll.
Add to that the dryness and the cold....
Image the kind of curiosity that would live here.
2. Another side
No, I don't think it is such a bad place as that. Been out there a few times, and, surprisingly, quite a few animals inhabit the place.
On the rocky stretch along the coast seals basking in the sun and on land a group of lama grazing. Well, if you call it a wilderness, i suppose it's a wilderness.
3. People with large legs
I heard that the famous Magellan stopped by a southern wilderness on his travels. It was then that he gave the name "Patagon" to the people living there, they say. Means "big feet", but the feet of the people there are all very normal. So, Master, why on Earth have they the name "Patagon"?
4. Land of the giants
Bugger if I know.... Oh, but wait, some sailor who came here did make some fuss about giants living in the south. Something about giant footprints in the ground. Bullocks, though: footprints were made by the boots those guys wear down there. Stands to reason this Magellan made the same mistake.
5. Land of the Patagones
Got a request for a survey of the vast wilderness in southern San Antonio. Gusting winds and a cold, dry place, but, at the same time apparently inhabited with abundant wildlife.
Get a visual of the land starting from the gulf in San Antonio's south.

Refers to parts of the peninsula positioned in the south of South America. When Magellan landed here, he named the people that lived on this land the Patagons. Hence the name "Patagonia".
