      Do you know about a town called Kakadu on the continent to the south? There is apparently a straight formed by the island and continent in front of the town. It will be necessary to survey this straight in order to safely sail into Kakadu. Go gather information at Kakadu, survey the straight and then report back. I'm counting on you.

                1. Channel of beginnings
                I suppose that straight would be in the way for anyone coming in by ship. But, the areas around this region are where our people originated from. The island just in fron of this town is one of those places. Our life here began with that island and that strait

                2. Caution for the monsoon season
                As you can see this is a pretty narrow strait. Be careful when you're passing through, specially during the rainy season. During that time the wind is probably strng enough to lift a small boat riht out of the water and the rain comes down almost like a waterfall. Even large ships can get blown off course and end up lost if you're not careful.

                3. Shallows right in front of you
                There is a narrow strait right in frnt of Kakadu. According to the people of Kakadu they originated from areas in this region, with the island forming the strait being one of those areas. Apparently the Kakadu region encounters very severe storms during the rainy season. I need to be careful to watch out for storms as I'm conducting my survey of the area.

                    The straits in northern Australia between Amhem and Bathurst Islands and Melville Island. It has a tropical climate. The area is hot all year long and is subjected to strong winds and heavy rains that are typical of the tropics.
