1. Trade route making use of seasonal winds
The trade winds blow steadily here, so this is an important sea route for ocean trade. In the summer the wins blow from the southwest. In the winter they blow from the northeast. Long ago, inland trade routes were prosperous, but this was dangerous and impossible to transport large volumes of goods.

2. Observation of sea trade routes
