Command of a skilled general

Naples Adventurer's Guild
Long ago, in the area now known as Tunis, there was apparently a great general whose brilliant strategies led many to revere him as a war god. A scholar researching Ancient Egypt would like to learn more about this general. He is regarded as a hero in Tunis, so ask about him there.

1. Over the Alps
That would be Hannibal, the famous general of Carthage.
Because the island of Sicily was where the war was taking place, Hannibal detoured through Iberia and trained his forces on the site. When entering the Italian peninsula, he crossed the Alps with elephants. My books have information on him as well.
2. Strategy of the Roman army
The forces of Rome far outnumbered the forces of Carthage, but were still itterlu destroyed. The Romans avoided attacking from the front and instead performed a waiting battle, performing raids against Hannibal's supplies and isolated forces, whittling away at their mind.
3. Famous geneal's difficult battle
Hannibal defeated the Roman forces that hugely outnumbered his army by using the element of surprise. The Romans proceeded to pressure Hannibal's forces.
Perhaps outside of Tunis, where the city of Carthage used to be, I can find out more about Hannibal. I should search near the table stone to the south-west.
