      Crest of the royal house
      No Expiration
      Lisbon Adventurer's Guild
You know the Vergina Ruins that you discovered...people are beginning to doubt that it's a royal tomb, because they can't seem to prove that the treasures they've found are those of the Macedonian Monarchy. Could you perhaps talk to a scholar, then re-investigate?

              Prerequisite:
An endless dream 5 7 1 The Vergina Ruins

Portrait of Alexander the Great 1 1 7
Crest of the royal house (this quest)

              1. To verify that
You earlier investigated for me a mosaic of Alexander the Great in Pompeii, remember? After that, investigated the same quest that you are following now. If you can identify the rest of Macedonia and discover it in Vergina, then this would prove the existence of the cementery of Macedonia...

              2. Breastplate of a king
Unfortunately, no crest was depicted in the mosaic. But i thought the depiction of the sun drawn on Alexander's breast plate looked a little suspicious... I would like you to determine whether it is the crest of Macedonia or not. I suspect that there should be a matching description of this in the old records of Athens...

              3. "History of Herodotus"
...There was a king who harboured three brothers who fleed from their fatherland. He became uncomfortable with the unusual events that occurred around the youngest brother and ordered his banishment. The three brothers became angry at this punishment. They demanded to be paid the wages they had earned working until now, but the king pointed to the sunbeam coming down the chimney and said "that is your wage."...

              4. "History of Herodotus"
...Of course, the older brothers became indignant at this ridiculous claim, but only the yougest brother, Perdiccas, humbly reached out to the sunbeam and pretended to put in his pocket. The brothers eventually came to live in a different land, and Perdiccas went on to become the ancestor of later Macedonian royalty...

              5. Crest of the sun
The depiction of the sun on the brast place in the mosaic of Alexander the Great. This could be related to the ancestral sunbeam of Macedonia in the works of Herodotus... Couldn't the possibility be high that the sun is the crest of Macedonian royalty? If it were possible to find something like that at Vergina...

              6. Crest of the royal house
The probability is high that the crest of Macedonia royalty is the sun. The discoveryof a relic of a sun crest at the inland ruins of Vergina would convince many scholars. Search everywhere at the inland Vergina ruins.

                • Small Gold Box ★★★★★ (Historical legacy) Exp:816 Fame:340
A box made of pure gold, found in the Vergina ruins. On its surface is carved what is thought to be the Sun crest of Macedonia. It contains bones, thought to be those of someone of nobility.
