Queen of ancient Egypt

Amsterdam Adventurer's Guild
Most ancient Egyptian pharaohs are men, but there are records of queens that ruled over Egypt. This is what we would like you to investigate this time. Cleopatra VII is perhaps the most famous Queen of Egypt, but there were female monarchs that came before her. Ask the scholar in Alexandria about it.

Relief of the Land of Punt Hatshepsut's Brooch Queen dressed as a man
The first queen of ancient Egypt was Hatshepsut. She became regent when her young son Thutmose III was enthroned. However, she put on a fake beard, dressing like a man and posed as the Pharaoh. She was a very interesting queen, indeed. Take a look in my library to learn more.
The only female Pharaoh
Hatshepsut was the only woman in ancient Egypt who became a Pharaoh. After becoming regent for her son, she had him dethroned. She dressed up as a man and ruled. When her son, Thutmose III was restored as ruler, he tried to erase her existence from history.
Queen's grave
Finding artefacts on her will be difficult as her son tried to erase everything about her. The royal family's tomb are located midway down the Nile river, but I'm curious if she has a proper grave there. Let's head northeast of the Nile river and investigate the area around the table rock.
