Insula Avallonis
You want to know where Merlin is buried? If I remember correctly, Merlin was buied alive by the spirits of the lake. I think it near Glastonbury, east of Plymouth. That area was swampland in the past and was call "Inis Avalon," meaning "apple island." The spirits of the lake are believed to have lived in that area.

Under a rock
You can find massive boulders between Stonehenge in Salisbury, which lies east of Glasonbury.
Merlin was believed to have been buried alive under a large rock at the bottom of the lake by the spirits there. If this was the case, then it's very likely his staff is buried nearby.

Staff of magic oak
If you're looking for that rock, you should disembark east of here. I was thinking though, since Merlin was a druid, his staff would have been made from evergreen oak. Even if you found it, there's a high chance that it's damaged heavily. Now, if it's still intact, I think you've found youself a magic staff indeed...

Merlin's staff
Apparently the location where Merlin was buried lies east of Plymouth, between Salisbury and Glastonbury. Let's disemark east of Plymouth and conduct our search near Stonehenge.
