This request is from the military of a certain nation. There apparently was a king recently who was called a war god. This request is to find out more about that king. He was apparently famous north of here. Why not try asking the proprietor of the resting place in Malacca?

A legend that lived 4 6 4 The Statue of King Naresuan (this quest)
The Cat, a Testimony of Appreciation 1

                  1. King of Ayutthaya
Oh, you want to know about that? I've heard that a king from the Ayutthaya Kingdom that ruled over Lop Buri led that army. It seems that, with great fervour, Ayutthaya reclaimed land it had lost in battle. His name was... Oh, what was it... More importantly, I think you can hear a lot more details if you go to Pattani.

                  2. His name is Naresuan
He was known as King Naresuan. He was the leading figure who revived the Ayutthaya Kingdom. A short while before that, Ayutthaya had been under the control of Burma. But he conquered much land by means of a specially trained army. If you go to Lop Buri, I'm sure you can learn a great many things.

                  3. Adolescence
You want to know about Naresuan? He spent his youth in Burma. When his father King Phitsanulok lost in battle to Burma, he was taken there as a hostage. But it was also there where Naresuan's brilliance was fostered. Why don't you ask a Town Official about him, too?

                  4. Power of kings
After Naresuan was taken to Burma as a hostage, he apparently studied military tactics there. Using the martial techniques he acquired at that time, he later fought and defeated the crown prince of Burma while riding on an elephant. Even now, he is still adored by the young as a god of war.

                  5. A symbol of admiration
What a hero! I'd love to become someone as great as that. Near the town gate, there's a statue of Naresuan. I go there everyday to pay my respects. You should go see it, too.

                  6. See the king's statue
You accepted a job to investigate about King Naresuan, a monarch from the Ayutthaya dynasty. In that area, it seems that great respect is paid to him as a war god who won independence from Burma. Supposedly, there's a statue of him near the Lop Buri town gate. You should go and examine it.

The 21st king of the Ayutthaya dynasty. When he was small, he was raised in Burma as a hostage, but when Burma seized Ayutthaya and made Naresuan's father the perfunctory king, he was returned in exchange for his older sister. Later, he strengthened the Ayutthaya army and made efforts for independence.
