I've learned this from Robber lv45(name forgot) npc at Rapa Nui West Coast after he used this Tech against me.

Sullinas Gang Lv46 used this tech on our fleet over at Inland Yucatan Peninsula, but sadly nobody learned the tech despite having the right skill levels. Interestingly, our sword gauge was only at L2, but the Salinas Gang Lv46 used the L3 Bola tech anyway, so I guess the AI characters play by their own rules.

A friend recently learned this on Floor 10 of Karnak and Luxor lower depths, which is a lot closer than either Rapa Nui or the Yucatan. The enemies had only used Fuse Explosive on our party during that same fight.

Does anyone know where to get the r4 tech that needs Bola?
Guilder08-28-2017
"Metallic ball made bowler" (google translation) is shown on this list of techs: gvo.gamedb.info/wiki/?Combat/Technic
But it does not list any NPCs to learn it from, and even searching the Japanese name of the tech turns up next to no results, other than mentions of it not being implemented in the Japanese version of UWO yet. It may be that it can't be learned... yet. If anyone knows information to the contrary, please do let us know. Cheers, and good tech hunting.

Seems the GAMA name for the R4 tech is:
Golden Bola
Thanks to Shanks for that info.
