These are listed as a reward for the limited run event, "Return of the Wannabe Vikings" (17th-30th).

Normally I'd post a link to the event's Japanese counterpart so we'd have an idea on what might or might not be an event reward, how it plays, so on, but... I can't seem to find it. Strange. If you have any information, please share it in the OGP forums, UWO Wikia, or even here on the DB -- it'd be a shame to let possible good drops go to waste. Cheers, and good... doing whatever this event expects of you to do.

The event is a remake of the Wannabe Vikings event that happened earlier this year. I think the only thing that changed are the rewards.

It's just a continuation of the last Wannabe Viking event, and therefore picks up right where you left off. All the fleets, their ship types, locations, loot drops are exactly the same, but you get a different reward this time for turning in those logbooks. You get a Pirate King's Tools consumable item (tradable) which gives you the following:

Veil of Ofanims* x 5
Fragment of Secret No-war Pact* x 5
Relief Ship Boarding Ticket* x 5
Land Redevelopment Handbook x 5
Skill Book Recording Guide x 5
Emergency Shipbuilding Request x 5

*Non tradable

Im suprised OGplanet kept those in, given how a majority of those are astros item. Not that I'm complaining about it...

Not a bad reward. Surprising, but certainly welcome. The last time we had this event, there was a surprisingly useful reward for turning in the MA viking armors; one of those Special Purchase Bonds used for Alchemy EX recipes. Not sure what the rewards are this time, but for those looking to try their luck, here's an excellent plunder guide by MarcoS on how and where to find the viking armors:

To bw honest I find the rewards too extreme but think the GMs did that on purpose. People are now making new acc to get hands on those forging tools which obselated the value of forged plates a lot...

Hope they are more careful about this with the next event :X
