The treasure hunt trick is bullshit way to level adventure and is for NC spending skilless noobs. It has now made anyone with high adventure nothing impressive. Id be so mad if I had actually adventured my way to 75 an now this shit is out. Players that farm this treasure hunt trick for adventure xp is similar to players who create an alt and farm it for cassador. I see so many shitty players that were mid 50s adventure last week and farm this little trick to be in mid 70s this week. Good job UWO on fucking up and respect high level adventurers once had. Now anyone that spends NC and has some extra ducats and an alt can be a high adventurer. Congrats to all you hollow high level "adventurers" that popped up over this past weekend. PS you still suck as adventurers and get no respect.

I agree. There are level 70+ adventurers with no adventure skills. Why bother grinding adventure anymore? Just buy some head meds and run back and forth from scholar to tavern. You don't even need to set sail to be an adventurer anymore.

To answer why people would "not set sail to grind adv", the reason I do it is because I get more vigour for one, and two more health (stamina) in land battle...so yea. That doesn't mean I'm not going to eventually go get all the discoveries in the game, which I am going to.

This is the problem, Now that there's a way to grind adv xp faster everyone will just be lazy and buy head meds to rank up. Would you rather do quests and maps for 5+ months to reach lv70 or 75 or just stay in tavern and click click click in a few weeks/months?

Before no more is doing trading because of dungeons and now in a few weks no one is even gonna do advneturing anymore.

There will be pros and cons that will affect the game because of this. I just hope it's not gonna be the cons.

*yawn* Levels do not make the game, skill ranks do. A 75/75/75 player with r1 in everything won't get very far. Bear in mind not everybody has hours and hours and HOURS to devote to things -- if you only have a short period of time to play (due to school/work/etc.), you take what play time you can get. As the above posters suggested, let people play how they want to. They aren't trying to tell you to play their style now, are they?

Some people HATE adventure and since adventure levels give extreme boosts in atk def and hit points somebody with a higher adv will have and extremely larger adv over you for those that don't like adventure this is the answer a video game isn't fun if you spend all day doing something you find boring.

This is basically the same as buying EA/spice goods to level up TRADE without "actual trading" now tell me nobody here has dungeoned or did that? I bet most of you here did that w/o port investing, grinding trade skills, jumping from port to port for the best rates and grinding accounts and sociability to the max.

Most importantly stop worrying about what other people are doing adventure people can pull quests get rare finds debate get discoveries etc. The people who leveled up with this treasure hunt method cant do any of that its solely for a level boost. So please stop worrying what everyone else is doing and worry about yourself grind adv any way you want if you with adventure quest you will have an advantage so stop whining.

I'm lvl 58 adv and tried this hoping to reach 64 to use a LC and believe me it's not worth it. In fact the r8 map in venice is still the best way to grind adv lvl if you ask me. It not just gives you fame but also ranks up youre unlock, search and art skills. Better than doing the TH way.

@Natascha it happens every now and then. Your discovery cards reset every hour on the hour. And if you run into you only being able to use one or two discovery cards and they aren't working, you have to wait another hour for your discovery cards to reset again. It happens and it's unavoidable.

Well, I have 1088 discoveries (1055 cards thanks to treasure hunting) and I've noticed sometimes I have no cards appear at all. This has also happened a number of times to my friend (who only has about 250-ish discoveries/cards).

Turns out pets with Area Search (Land) can find these at the Bay of Bengal Northeast Coast landing point. Pets with the Additional Discovery ability have a random chance of finding any items in that region, as well as Pet Plunder (land) ability may also find items when beating land battle enemies, so you may get them that way as well. You won't probably be able to farm them as quickly as in a dungeon, but it's nice to know the option exists. Cheers. I wonder which sea zone, if any, a pet could find this item at with Area Search (Sea) skill...
