is there any profit in doing shipwreck now?back when before i went on hiatus almost a year ago, i can still cover swmps expense by selling headache meds, if lucky enough to get it. and im pretty sure even rare shipwreck drop wont even sell much these days.

Not much unless ur lucky to get those headache meds and rare items. This goes to 500k the minimum and the highest i seen is 600k.

If these were only 500k each you would just be able to buy from bazaars. I sell mine for 700k usually. Korian sometimes even buys them for 1m each...

If people would be less greedy then these might still be found in bazaars for less then 500k.

Do people realise that at some point it takes 25 - 30 pieces for a wreck ( and thats with shipwreck huntert title )

Its not the greed. Its the lack of supply. You will rarely find these at 500k anymore, maybe in the bazaar of a newbie

swmp are easy to get with knowhow .........but since every1 thinks its all about the ducates the knowhow disappears.

Try some landbattle, do some collecting, procuring or fishing and u might be surprised what u find.

As a last resort if u want more swmp u can always try some dungeons like ( and this is a fact ) Fort San Domingo lower. I also believe that Lima upper from what ive heard gives a decent amount overtime.

But hey its all about the ducates ............. remember that.

Are there any archive maps or specific location i can farm this? Buying them is so expensive, no one is selling at 500k anymore and saw someone in seville at 1m each. :(

I got in a argument with Tommahawk over this last night he refused to believe me SWMP were being sold at over 500k now he can shut it I WAS RIGHT!

anywho Tommahawk said he gets them for 300-500k no higher although I highly doubt the truth of this you can ask him to get you the 100-200 SWMP's you need for that price if he can back up what he said in wc...

I believe current rate on SWMPs is 800k but bulk only. If you have 1-2 SWMPs just be nice and sell for 500k :P

I get a lot of SWMPs from battling land NPC's in Northwest Portobelo. Same in North Calicut.

These can be obtained via:

Fishing/Collecting at sea (higher skill ranks and Casting Net ship skill may help increase the chances of this))
Sinking NPC ships
Besting NPCs in land/dungeon battles
Using Search/Collection/Procurement at landmarks
Your pet finding a piece while sailing at sea (rare)
Randomly given to you by NPC Shopkeepers and Marketkeepers when purchasing goods (rare)
Randomly given to you when updating your private farm in person, rather than at the bank
Found in East Asian dungeon treasure chests and/or clearing an EA dungeon boss floor (Fort San Domingo middle/lower seems to be the best source for SWMPs)


I've probably missed a few. As you can see, SWMPs come from just about everywhere in the game, with certain actions being more likely to yield them than others.

Apparently, there is really small chance you can get this from using "Tow & Logout" feature after you arrive at the destination. I've used this a lot since a long time ago and this is the first time i got swmp from it.
