often found where recent sea battles have occured however i find more from collection on land or landbattles but i suppose its probly because i do more collection on land than at sea

it gives adv exp. other jobs good to do wrecks is cartographer(salvage and repair favored) and helmperson(repair favored)

I heard you can pick up a lot of SWMP's on the outskirts of Salonika though collecting. Cant say if it's true though as I only have R4 collection and hardly got anything. Either Im looking in the wrong place or it only works if you have a fairly high collection rank.

swmp's show up just about everywhere when using procure/collect. Get yourself snuggled up against some named landmark, like table rock or red flowers or dead tree. Something you can select with your mouse. make sure you are right up against it, sometimes just clicking on it keeps you too far away.

(PAC) if you kill one of there members they hunt you but no biggy cuz the are a bunch of limp dick pussys same thing with BBB if its a fair 1vs1 then they like to attempt to gank you with fleets of 4 or 5 witch makes them supper noobs if they die to a fair fight they get but hurt BBB is difrent BBB has no team work they are a bunch of assholes who runn there mouths and then run from you and I chase and kill no biggy the some times call a friend to exstract them ok its a smart method but then they start to bad mouth you in PM = immature pussys they all like to run there mouths then eather run from y7ou or try to gank you

is there any profit in doing shipwreck now?back when before i went on hiatus almost a year ago, i can still cover swmps expense by selling headache meds, if lucky enough to get it. and im pretty sure even rare shipwreck drop wont even sell much these days.

swmp are easy to get with knowhow .........but since every1 thinks its all about the ducates the knowhow disappears.

Try some landbattle, do some collecting, procuring or fishing and u might be surprised what u find.

As a last resort if u want more swmp u can always try some dungeons like ( and this is a fact ) Fort San Domingo lower. I also believe that Lima upper from what ive heard gives a decent amount overtime.

But hey its all about the ducates ............. remember that.

anywho Tommahawk said he gets them for 300-500k no higher although I highly doubt the truth of this you can ask him to get you the 100-200 SWMP's you need for that price if he can back up what he said in wc...

I believe current rate on SWMPs is 800k but bulk only. If you have 1-2 SWMPs just be nice and sell for 500k :P

These can be obtained via:

Fishing/Collecting at sea (higher skill ranks and Casting Net ship skill may help increase the chances of this))
Sinking NPC ships
Besting NPCs in land/dungeon battles
Using Search/Collection/Procurement at landmarks
Your pet finding a piece while sailing at sea (rare)
Randomly given to you by NPC Shopkeepers and Marketkeepers when purchasing goods (rare)
Randomly given to you when updating your private farm in person, rather than at the bank
Found in East Asian dungeon treasure chests and/or clearing an EA dungeon boss floor (Fort San Domingo middle/lower seems to be the best source for SWMPs)


I've probably missed a few. As you can see, SWMPs come from just about everywhere in the game, with certain actions being more likely to yield them than others.

Apparently, there is really small chance you can get this from using "Tow & Logout" feature after you arrive at the destination. I've used this a lot since a long time ago and this is the first time i got swmp from it.
