Yes, it is in game. A couple of weeks ago I've got two of them in the shipwreck near Hangzhou (EA). One was normal, the other was collectors item (it had 70 durability and 19 defense). Sold both of them this morning in Seville at 50 and 70 mil respectively.

Unlike you, spineless corner sitter, I leave my IGN. Turtle ships are a perfect way to counter those MKW's and MLA's which take no skill to operate we all know this. MLA with 1300 dura with DHP and your deck assault. I have seen battles where not even one shot was able to be fired and not one round of melee was able to be done. Now that sounds just like land battle no sea battle skills required.

Deck battle is part of maritiming. You know like in real life when ships battled they didn't just shoot at each other the whole time. There was melee and deck battling. Try being an all around maritimer with cannon skills PLUS swordplay and finesse. Not just a group of half ass maritimers to lazy to grind.

There are only a handful on the server that can do cannon/melee/deck well, and none would be on this forum trashtalking. If you are good, you don't have to say it, you let your actions speak for you. A lot of people spend a lot of money on the game, nothing really wrong with that. Without that, you wouldn't be playing it for free. This isn't the vision I had when forming SL. I didn't want to have a bunch of 2nd class maritimers in my company. A bunch of noobs hiding in turtle ships using god cannons. I envisioned a group of all around maritimers that adjust to the new features of the game. Instead I get a pussy (boomstick) who quits to protest God cannons only to return to be the biggest user on server. I once cared about training my skills to be an all around maritimer. Now i tell my company mates to forget training, lets just hide in turtle ships and only attack in fleets. We cant beat anyone on deck, and we don't want to train deck. We want to live in the past before deck battles when we were once respected maritimers. What a sad sad dissappointement my company has become... PAC may I please join so you can teach me how to grind finesse so i can be an all around maritimer, not a 1 dimensional noob.

I agree with Oleh with everything. But the amusing thing is that deck is even more broken than you spoke. The point is... Its not just that you dont need to be good at controling ship, positioning, tactics. Just enter deck and overpower your opponent. In 1x1 against non turtles the deckers are kinda protected against pillage orders/melee items, since you can start the deck right away. Also immune to disorder, to escaping, training bombs... Whatever. As soon the melee is on, its deck most of the time. Also, deckers can force whole teams to deck, avoiding escapes, since they need to melee only admiral. So even if you are in a turtle but your fleet admiral isnt, deck will be on. I've heard that pvp deck battles were nerfed recently in japanese server to require agreement for both captains. Maybe they've being complaining a lot there.

Just a side note, NOTC has some new veteran players from other server. This server is starting to get its own veterans only now I guess.

Well, Red Garuda and Elysium has no other server veterans but they fight well :) on other side SeaLegion has Complicated and ForApple (Chinese Server Veteran) as their fleet member disguised.

A new pair of +1 Evasion boots can be obtained from the Upper Euphrates landing point via Search skill, at the Table Boulder landmark just east of the entry point. It is:

Babylonian Soldier's Boots - Brown
Durability: 30
Defence Power: 7
Evasion +1
5000 fame

My search rank was R13, but it may be possible to find at a lower level. It is significantly easier to obtain than these Korean Gaiters, and so I doubt the cost for them will be as... astronomical.
