Just bring the compass after ur monthly 5k has arrived. you have 30days without losing any dura. dura is never an issue if you keep track on the days of sailing and ur monthly interest.

Lol, you should try grinding geo and do the magellan questline, (you get magellans book +2 geo effect)
Then after that, do another easy geo questline, then finally the rapa nui questline :)
