"Ancient hat"

Beginning with Chapter 3: Cetus, this can randomly be obtained from treasure chests in the bonus map (unofficially designated "Fiddler's Green") that is found in the Sea of Wonders #1, Lighthouse of Alexandria version. More details on the SoW page. Item stats:

Durability 40
Defense 10
Marching +1
Provisions +1
Unisex, 5k total fame to equip

At least, I think I read the skill boosts from the screenshot correctly. If the stats seem unimpressive, that's probably intentional -- it can apparently be strengthened/improved via alchemy (as seen in the screenshot web source).

At present I haven't yet found the final results of that alchemy process and can offer little else, other than the usual UWO DB line: "it's very hard to do." Cheers.

I was able to locate the Alchemist recipe needed to upgrade this item. It requires R13 Alchemy/Sewing and appears as a possible recipe in your Quarters' alchemy furniture. Here's one example of an attempt to improve it:

However, the player failed. A pity for them as it turns out you can upgrade this hat into Petasos with an EX effect -- details on its page.
