• +1 what if you mean can you do the job quest if you are boosted to the required ranks in sp and plunder then YES. as with all job quests you can use boosts to get the job, (you cannot use boosts on existing skill, to acquire new skill) ( 20000029 )

• R8+2 at long last - you can imagine how much effort this took without event boost (so the way to go is as suggested by all -lab bench r10,r11,r12) (the advanced alchemy recipes section on this site could mention that there are 2 possible fails for each recipe - that would have deterred me from trying this route to grind alchemy, but i figured it out pretty fast after i started and now i have a solid base for my alchemy career) ( 20000079 )
