Value is Different for Everyone
I have seen the stone pillar. It's out to the east from here. I didn't think much of it since, but I wonder what it was? But still, you can't expect someone to know just because they live here. For someone like me, who's not interested in academics, it looks like just any rock pillar....

Wall of a Structure?
Ah yes, that pillar. It piqued my interest and I did some research as well. I can provide you with some basic information if you're interested. Firstly, the pillar was 20cm thick. It looked like the wall of a building. I asked around....

Stone for Religious Rites?
...and it seems there might have been a settlement around there in the past. The further you go in, the larger the pillars get.
And some people think the pillars might be fragments of stones used for rituals. They are surely mysterious.

Reason Stone Pillars Remain
There were pillars large and small, some even gigantic.
All are worth taking a look at it. The closest ones are near the large dead trees seen when you head to the northeast from here.
Maybe you should take a look at the pillars yourself and think about what they might mean?

Vestige of Settlement
According to the scholar, there is a former settlement around the north of Anping, and the stone pillar is maybe a remnant of that.
We don't know the details, but there might be value in checking it out. Land northeast of Anping, and look for the giant dead tree. You can see the pillars around there.

Pillar about 20cm thick that remains in the location of an ancient dwelling in Taiwan.
There are various theories, such as that it was for a shrine, or the wall of a building.
