Rumours, eh. I don't know if its true, but I've got a good one. Hey you, the sailor over there, you want to tell that story?

Ghastly tale
Yeah, sure, I'll tell it.
...is what I'd like to say, but I'm not that sort. It's a famous story, so anyone living here should know it. Just ask around.

A well known group of pirates
Around here, a long time ago, there were well-known pirates. They did trips towards Europe, and were known in pretty distant countries. They didn't just attack traders, but used to loot historical ruins too.

When the change happened
After robbing a particular historical site, they suddenly stopped piracy. Instead, people dressed in black cloth started going in and out of their stronghold. From morning until night bad smelling smoke would come out of the base.

As if nothing happened
No-one looked to see what was happening. If they stayed in their stronghold no one was bothered. Except, one day they went to sea like nothing had happened. The time came again for trading ships to be afraid of them.

Limitless voyage
One time, there was a drought here. For days, weeks, there was no rain. But those pirates didn't return to their stronghold, and kept attacking trading ships. And they should have run out of food and water long before..

After the punitive expedition...
The pirates kept attacking trading ships. But people didn't just leave it alone. Some good sailors got together and went out to stop them. They scuttled the fleet and destroyed the stronghold. Of course, none of the pirates were left alive.

Dead men's fleet
But, that fleet which should have been sunk, appeared again the next day. Holes from battle, torn sails, all still there. Ships which should have been sunk, with crews who should have been dead, slowly moved.

Endless drift
What do you think, a pretty weird story right? But it doesn't end there. That fleet is still out there. Just as they were, after being battered and sunk.

Rumours of a ghost ship
Rumours of ghost ships seem to be spreading among the sailors. Return and report it to the Guild.
