1. Mighty militar strenght
The Hitite empire was the first to use iron. They used weapons made of iron to conquer and expand their territory. Due to its strong properties and military significance, the art of iron working was kept a strict secret.

The anatolian plateau full of mineral resources. The hitites are believed to have learned iron working technology from he people they conquered in the area. They forbade the dissemination of the technology and applied it to weapon making.
They were also known for their ground-breaking war chariots. It is said that their capitol was located on a peninsula east of Istanbul

Yes, the quest is repeatable. Just got it for the second time, despite the fact I'm still carrying the sword I got from it the first time round.
