Grand Walls of Babylon's Past
A grand wall constructed under Nebuchadnezzar II to protect the Neo-Babylonian Empire's capital city, Babylon. The wall surrounded the city and was richly decorated using blue glazed bricks and many relief sculptures. The north side of the wall is attached with a brilliant gate known as the Ishtar Gate.
