The Great Lighthouse's Past
An enormous lighthouse that was over 130 meters tall. Built around 3rd Century BC on the island of Pharos, it was located on the coast of Alexandria, the capital of Egypt during the Ptolemaic Dynasty. It is said that a large mirror was placed in the highest floor and was used to reflect sunlight during the day.- ()
