  • Moraine Lake
The lake in a place of high elevation in western North America. It is said to have been formed by the melting of glacial ice. During the summer season, it becomes filled with water. When the sand that flows into it becomes refracted by the sunlight, the water's surface becomes dyed a beautiful turquoise blue.
