he is talking about thesis progress and he is right i too had problems making the game register the course meals i think it only counts when it says that sailors enjoy it too? im not sure but yeah you should complete this one by collecting fishing procuring

Thanks, Lancelot and Nekoalex. That makes sense. I did this particular thesis by fishing. I will probably go back and do the other one when I'm done with my current thesis. I'm working on the thesis to hide completed maps. I already have the skill active to hid completed discovery quests. Thankfully, the first thesis in Cuisine Arts only requires my sailors to enjoy meals three times.

I apologize for the duplicate post. Yes, Lewis, I think this is a new thesis. Is your cooking skill R5 or higher? It requires R5 or higher cooking (R3 or higher wining & dining can be substituted).

No problem! I forgot some info earlier anyway. To repost! According to gvo.gamedb.info's university section, this thesis and its 1-star research building cousin -- Full/Drunk Rate Decrease -- have the following requirements:

R5 Cooking and/or R3 Wining & Dining
Completion of The town's top cook

50 pages needed for thesis completion, 150 credits awarded per thesis, 3500 credits needed to equip the skill. 5 thesis pages given for course meals, 1 page for "field activities", or acquiring trade goods via procurement, collection, and fishing. I do find fishing was the quickest way, at least for me.
