watch out for this garbage, they are bugged. if you're not at sea they don't repair ship parts and if you're in land battle / dungeon they don't repair gear. and price is 500k now, just shout for 500k and you get it, 1m for this is ripoff, one hour of lima and you get around 50 for free

Careful with exaggerations. There's no way you can get 50 Silver Tarots from Lima dungeon in an hour. They sometimes drop after you beat the mid boss and you get around 3 - 5 tarots then. More often, you'll get tumbaga or even tequila dropped. Yes, if you spend a lot of time in mid Lima dungeon you'll get lots of silver tarots but 50 per hour is a gross exaggeration. I'd say 10 per hour is closer to the truth and even that is generous.

the effects only happen at sea, that's not a bug, that's how it works. Pay attention to the icon in the upper left corner, learn how to gauge how much time you have left and you will find yourself with plenty of time to get out to sea before it expires.

And I run Lima way more than I'm comfortable admitting and 10 in an hour is generous indeed, but right in there. 50 an hour would be the bug that you don't share.

Depends how you do the dungeon, if you skip chests then you get a lot more than 10 per hour that's for sure.

ok nobody has mention that you can also get these at luxor middle. also you dont have to keep track of the 'guage and how much time you have', these tarots last for 3 hours, set a timer on your mobile phone or alarm if you have to. give yourself 5 minutes and you should have enough time to get to sea. dont go buying 1 or 2 trying for either the 'world' or 'empress' tarot, most of the time you will receive the 'fool' or 'high priestess'
Fool: Random effect.
High Prietess: Decreades viguer used when producing by 20%, acquire a dropped item on land when it runs out.
World: increases exp 10%, restores 25% of equipment(only equipped)
Empress: Increases skill prof by 20%, restores ship parts(only equipped on the host ship) by 25%
these effects are great and worth 1mil, i buy as many as i can for 1mil. getting the world effect is far more efficient than buying MTTs. ship parts can be repaired, great if your NC sails are damaged etc

ah not quite, sorry i shouldve explained that too, the tarot lasts 3 hours, but the effect itself turns on and off at random times, youll only get around 1.5 hours or 2 hours of the effect actually being active, i should test how long the effect is actually active for within the 3 hour.
still nice though. 25% repair on a general's cloak is 62 dura, you would need 31 master tailoring tools to repair 62 dura, so totally worth farming.

I got the world but my parts didnt heal anything, do i need to sail? i was just camping in dock, harbour?

In order for the world to work, your card will start flashing slowly at first (5minutes prior) then fast rapid flash 1 minute count down. Must have items equiped and sailing in green zone. For BOTH the world and empress.

Is it possible to get the Magician from silver tarot (excluding from when you get "the fool" and randomly get Magician cause of that)? Asian website said cannot but olous said can.

Also, does the Magician actually help with SB improve GS?

I'd believe the asian wikis over olous anyday.

As far as I can remember, I think I've only seen the magician from gold tarots or from Paracelsus or Dee. I really doubt that it helps with success on a ship build - you see special flames around you when the magician gives you an extra great success.

My friend said he has NC items to guarantee GS with "production" and it does not work on ship improve or more precisely cannot use it with ship improve. So if magician also helps with "production" but not with ship improve then I guess the college skill also has no impact on ship improve.

well no it's the exact opposite. When the cards expire:

'Empress' card restores 25% durability of EQUIPPED ship parts, but only if you are out at sea.

'World" card restores 25% durability of EQUIPPED items, but only if you are out at sea.

And then only sometimes (most of the time, just not all of the time)

'Fool' card gives you a chance of recovering some item or trade good(s) that have been discarded nearby, this works on land or at sea.

the other card (the name eludes me) gives you less vigour consumption when using production skills while it is in effect, and as best as I can tell, it has no effect on expiration.

i have had it (rarely) not work while out at sea, in green zone, with no adverse affects. so yeah, MOST of the time, but not all of the time. I have had it work many many times just sitting still so you don't have to be moving for it to work either.

sitting still works, but don't leave unattended...those seagulls are sneaky. I pop outside port with 10-50 seconds left and just sit. Never an issue that way.

Will you read what you are being told or just keep yapping? You can sit still and it still work, you can't have any adverse OR BENEFICIAL effects on the boat, so seagulls will screw you over if you aren't paying attention. stay right at port, watch to make sure seagulls didn't sneak up on you and you're good.

i wouldnt say a very long time, few months ago i was buying these in large ammounts for 1mil each, i used to buy for 500k from bazaars as Holfina says. and if youve been buying them for 5mil each, i suggest you spend an hour or 2 in lima middle dungeon, if thats too tough for you then try luxor middle to farm these. i wouldnt pay 5mil when i can just sail to the nile and farm 20 in a few hours, 20 is enough to keep my equipment and ship parts in check for a long while including getting nice +10% XP or +20% skill prof thrown in.

I don't buy these, i go get them at Lima, i skip chests and go straight thru. An hour or two just isn't going to cut it.. I have gone "an hour or two" without getting a single one. I kinda question the people who say they are so easy to farm. It's not about it being hard to do, it's about spending all that time doing a lesser dungeon when i could be doing FSD for a WHOLE lot more money. And don't start with the "did you change your title?" cause um, yeah.

Luxor Middle floor has more high probability to get this than Lima, 4-5 hrs i got 20-30pcs. Of course, i didn't open the treasure boxes just went straight to the exit each floor then repeat.

When farming these in Lima, you will hit long dry spells every now and then where you dont' get any, then all of a sudden you'll get them 3 out of every 5 runs, patience and perserverence is key. Stay at it long enough and you'll get far more tarots than you use while running.

I do feel like the drop rate has changed because back before EA dungeons I used to give them away to friends because I would have 150-200 on me. The days of these being sold at 500k each is long long gone.

The current price is below 8m and if you're lucky it can even be bought below 5m each.

It seems that the effect from "the world" and "the empress" repairs equipments/shipparts worn even if you don't let the sails up.
