Thanks, Nicola, for the clarification. I also saw a post on the Netmarble forum, advising that the NPC in question is Wandering Poet near Valencia's tavern. My guess is that he's going to be an 'in and out' feature, much like NC aides. I plan on keeping my poem fragments just in case the Wandering Poet is made available on GAMA (which I think is HIGHLY likely and probably tied to the 2nd Age unveiling event as this appears (from the ost on NM forums) to be a bridge to 2nd Age.

Not having gotten one of these yet, I must ask: do they stack together (like deck brushes and other consumables) or take up individual item slots (like equipment) instead?

It's a consumable, and yes they stack normally. AFAIK you get them along with the QMP you get for doing quests.

With the move to OGPlanet, it's questionable if these Poem Fragments will really be of any use now. I know it's for 2nd age, but OGPlanet isn't obligated to patch or implement anything NM had planned before the move.

Transferring of the game includes the future updates of well. Why would OG buy it from NM when they dont have plans to update it? All online games needs to be updated from time to time and UWO will do so also. Especially for 2nd age which is a major udpate. Regarding Poem Fragment which im assuming is a minor one, maybe NPC fo this won't showup but for 2ndage, definitely.

This is actually a good idea than NM running the server. It been a year already since UWO got screwed up and all the promises of NM for players was not implemented. Transferring it to OG at least has a chance that this game might be saved and at the same time might attract more players.

Pluse sale of tbox for 2 weeks, start seeing a lot of nc ships after nov 14. :)

Game updates are not up to NM or OGP. It's up to Koei. The platform providers' duty is mainly to translate and run the server accordingly. It's not really a choice for OGP to make whether we get 2nd age or not. UWO global lags compared to the other servers because NM has took longer (understandably) to prepare the patches. It's anyone's guess whether OGP will do a better job at it but regardless, it's a job they must do to keep up with the programming changes published by Koei.

I received a confirmation from GM_Rukaede that these are useless and will not have any use in the future. Throw them out or sell them to shopkeeper or whatever. Their not worth anything anymore.

fer naw...don't just assume that it won't be there...KOEI kinda being..."something" that it assume GAMA doesn't need that npc for this thing...official announcement is preferable..though GM saying to ya from tell is still not confirm thing yet...unless it is information about certain things/stuff...well..GM can be wrong too, but who knows.. :P

I see. Well, whatever the case, I'm a nostalgic kind of guy, so I'll probably hang on to my poems for a while yet. And I won't get all worked about this, either, since I'm happy to have the game available to play. It's disappointing, sure... but not the worst of all possible scenarios, either.
