Where do you get this from?

Got a few of these from bottles several months ago. Demand appeared to be zero, so I vendored. If there's a legitimate use for them, I would love to know what it is.

Ty Slappeh and benjy. As far as uses go, these would be awesome for PvE NPC Maritime battle grind. The 7 difference between armor increase and speed loss(+12 armor, -5 Speed) is the highest I've ever seen for any ships armor. As far as I know, the next highest difference is 3 with Hardened Live Oak plating(+10 armor, -7 Speed). However, having seen these plates in Company Stores and bazaars for 80-100m per kind of puts a damper on that idea. Perhaps a recipe to make them via an NPC in Edo would be a good idea and would serve to make this item more available to all......

been a while since i did any nanban but i dont think these are the nanban rewards, the Thick Hinoki Plating +11 arm/-6 speed are a nanban gift

Definitely not from Nanban. JP wiki has them listed as coming from "Treasures package of El Oriente product package pirate Barbarossa"... so, unless that cool recipe idea is followed up on, there's no way to obtain these in the game other than through players who may still have some from that past bottle, I'm afraid.
