The Location is to the Southwest of Edo
Aaah, that's poem by the court poet Yamabe no Akahito that starts "Tago no ura..." No one knows where exactly the place it refers to is, but they know it's somewhere southwest of Edo. You could ask someone who travels in the Edo area. Or maybe there's someone who might frequently listen to the stories of travelers?

Dignified Appearance
Yes I hear about that mountain all the time. Everyone who sees it, whether they travel by ship or foot, are always impressed with that mountain. They say it still blows now and then, but it was and still is worshiped as sacred. You should view it from sea. You're sure to understand the feelings of that peot.

Looking up at the Snow-draped Sacred Moutain
The mountain I was asked to investigate is southwest of Edo. It is large enough to be seen from sea ad extremely beautiful to boot.
