1. No danger?
You want to study that creature?... Well, it attacked me, but I guess it shouldn't pose a threat if you're 1ust studying it.
Why am I okay? I heard from a sailor that there's a big but docile creature around here.

2. Your fault
I found out that the specific place is the island to the north-east of this town. I had job to run anyway, so I went there, and found the creature. I got so excited, I tried to ride on its back. I thought it was supposed to be docile.
Unfortunately, it didn't like that, so it threw me off and swatted me away.

3. Investigation of log-like animal
The log-like creature is docile unless provoked.
There is a landing spot on the east coast of an island north-east of Surabaya. I should go there as soon as I am ready.
