1. Inexplicable disappearance
It all began when a Spanish transport ship went missing, cause unknown, soon after setting sail from Havana.
An search of the area began after the alarm was raised with Spanish authorities.
There may be information on this transport ship in Havana.
Please make your way there.

2. Worship

What folly!
Rumour spread among the townsfolk about the wrath of Poseidon or that a monster appeared.
They were most likely attacked by pirates or overcome by a storm.
With your knowledge of the sea perhaps you can make some sense of it, even from hearsay.

3. No normal occurrence
The town official doesn't understand at all.
We, who understand the sea were quite alarmed.
This was no ordinary occurrence.
Ask the seamen over there.
Skilled fellows they are who spend more time at sea than on land.

4. Deeds of youth
I sailed that area in a fleet of 5 ships when I was just a novice.
The weather was fine and the wind was favourable.
We were making good headway when suddenly the lead ship just sunk!
Don't know of the hull was breached but it just went down so quickly, like it was being pulled.

5. Drawn up from the seabed
As the ship was sinking I saw the sea behind it swell up and something gigantic rose above the surface.
I could do nothing but watch as the vessel went down.
You may not believe me, but something is out there, something is out there.

6. Bubbling surface
Just prior to the ship's departure was a strange report that countless bubbles were rising from the seabed there.
However, striking bubbles will not sink a ship so perhaps this has nothing to do with it.
That place lies north-northeast of here and it is best to steer clear of it.

7. Sea of evil
The place where the Spanish transport ship went missing is north-northeast of Havana.
Seamen say something mysterious lurks there.
Greater than normal preparation is required for the unexpected.
